Mat's journey with Elvis began in 2016, when he visited Graceland for the first time. The vibrant style of the mansion and the powerful energy he felt there made a lasting impression. It was like Elvis’s presence still lived in every room. After the visit, he began listening to Elvis’s music and the moment he heard “Blue Suede Shoes,” something clicked. From that point on, he became a lifelong fan, captivated by Elvis’s voice, charisma, and timeless spirit.

Mat began performing as an Elvis Tribute Artist in 2022 and quickly earned recognition for his dedication and talent. He has since won multiple titles, including five People’s Choice awards and first-place finishes at major Elvis festivals, such as the Penticton Elvis Festival and the Norwegian Elvis Festival in Måløy, where he was crowne
